Nacap Australia acquired by Quanta Services

Nacap Australia a leading energy infrastructure contractor that provides pipeline and related construction services primarily to the oil, gas, water and power industries, was acquired by Quanta Services on 29 July 2013.

With operations throughout North America and in certain international markets, Quanta Services is a leading specialised contracting services company, delivering infrastructure solutions for the electric power and natural gas and pipeline industries. Quanta’s comprehensive services include the design, installation, repair and maintenance of energy infrastructure. Quanta is a U.S.-based, publicly traded, Fortune 500 company and is a member of the S&P 500 stock index. The company generated U.S. $5.9 billion in revenue in 2012.

Nacap’s management team continue to lead the company and will report through Mark Twycross, president of Mears and director of Quanta Services Australia Pty Ltd. Additionally, Nacap maintains its headquarters in Doncaster, Victoria, and an office in Brisbane.
