Melbourne Water General Manager of Program Delivery, Craig Dixon, said it is a big achievement to be recognised for excellence by water industry peers in this way.
“I congratulate all involved in these incredible infrastructure projects, including our project partners, for their collaboration, innovation and dedication to delivering outstanding outcomes,” Mr Dixon said.
“Melbourne Water manages all parts of the water cycle – and this is highlighted in the diversity of these projects. They cover improvements to biodiversity, reducing flood risk and setting world leading standards for wastewater treatment.
“These projects will benefit the community and environment not only for today, but for generations to come.”
Winners will be announced at the Australian Water Association VIC Water Awards Gala on Thursday 3 November at Melbourne Town Hall.
