The 47th Annual Convention of the Australian Pipeline Industry Association will be held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre from 17 to 20 October 2015.
The Convention will cover a range of issues on the theme: Australia’s Pipeline Industry: Providing Skills and Infrastructure for Energy.
APIA’s Annual Convention brings together participants from all sectors of the pipeline industry as well as other industries that are associated with natural gas and the transportation of energy, slurry, and water.
This major annual industry event provides excellent information in the business sessions, and the social events allow for extensive networking opportunities. The Australian pipeline industry is respected worldwide and APIA’s broad membership base provides knowledge and information that is being transferred to the next generation of experts.
APIA is calling for papers from members and non-members to be submitted by Friday 20 February 2015.
This Call for Papers includes a request for presentations covering major (or smaller) projects, opportunities, and developments in the industry. Presentation topics can include but are not restricted to:
- Natural gas and energy policies
- Gas markets
- Construction challenges
- Coal seam gas
- International industry
- Research
- Regulatory developments.
- Safety
- Training and skills development
- Operational and maintenance issues
- Environmental issues
- Technical regulation
- Water, slurry, and waste transportation
Papers should meet the required criteria to be considered by APIA’s 2015 Convention Papers Committee.
