ACCIONA Energía Australia has welcomed Gavin Reymond as its next Managing Director, who will commence in the role from 1 September 2025.

Mr Reymond is a civil engineer with more than 30 years of experience, and was most recently ACCIONA Australian Infrastructure Group Head of Strategy & Transformation, where he directed the division’s renewable energy investment and development. Prior to this, he was the Executive Regional Manager for New South Wales, where he was responsible for ensuring the delivery of critical infrastructure projects such as Western Sydney Airport, Sydney Metro and Western Harbour Tunnel.

Mr Reymond said he’s excited to take on this new role and looksforward to continuing to develop major renewable energy projects in Australia.

“We are at a critical time for the energy transition with real progress being made to reduce emissions in Australia and ACCIONA Energía is taking a leading role in the development of a low-carbon economy,’’ he said.

“Australia is a key investment priority for ACCIONA Energía globally and we have a robust pipeline of clean energy projects in development, including the commissioning of the largest wind farm in the Southern Hemisphere.

“I look forward to continuing to develop our renewable energy portfolio across Australia and to building on our demonstrated commitment to furthering innovation and sustainability in the sector.”
