Melbourne Water has chosen Dr Paul Pretto, General Manager Asset Planning, to fulfil the role of Acting Managing Director while the company conducts an executive search to permanently fill the role.
Dr Pretto has been with Melbourne Water for 14 years and has 21 years of experience in the Australian water industry.
Melbourne Water Chairman Paul Clark said, “Paul has held the reins at Melbourne Water in an acting capacity on a number of occasions, always providing excellent leadership.
“This process will ensure stability and absolute continuity of service for our customers while we find the best possible candidate for the critically important Managing Director role.
“We are ensuring we have the right expertise and experience across our entire leadership team right now and into the future.”
