AGL Energy Limited has announced the appointment of a new Chief Customer Officer, effective 1 July 2019.

Experienced executive, Christine Corbett, is set to take on the role.

Ms Corbett spent 27 years at Australia Post, where she held several large leadership roles, including two years as Chief Customer Officer from 2016 to 2018, responsible for group channel operations, marketing, digital and customer experience.

She was Interim Chief Executive Officer at Australia Post prior to joining PwC in 2018 as a Special Advisor consulting for a range of clients, including in the energy sector.

AGL Managing Director & CEO, Brett Redman, said: “Christine is a very experienced senior executive who will be a strong addition to the AGL leadership group. I look forward to welcoming Christine and working with her and the AGL Customer Markets team to serve our customers and continue to improve our customer experience.”
