After an extensive search, AGL Energy Limited (AGL) has appointed a new Executive General Manager of Group Operations.
Mr Doug Jackson has been awarded the position, and the announcement completes a full restructure of AGL’s executive team.
Mr Jackson has been acting in this role since April 2015 and was previously the Chief Operating Officer in the former Merchant Energy division.
Mr Jackson has over 35 years experience in the power generation industry in Australia and North America. Prior to joining AGL, he worked in the United States and Canada as a Vice President with TransAlta and has an extensive career in the power generation industry, leading the operations and construction of electricity generation and mining assets.
