A multifaceted tool that can carry out all elements of pipe inspections under tough conditions is now a reality.

The new Mini-Cam SOLOPro+, available from SECA, contains everything needed to inspect pipes, document findings, and create detailed reports for onsite delivery.

The SOLOPro+ combines the SOLOPro and SOLOPro 360 systems, but adds a range of new features intended to improve efficiency and accuracy.

The redesigned control unit has an integral joystick control, ergonomic soft-touch keypad, and user friendly multi-function hot keys that mirror an on-screen display for quick and accurate navigation.

The customisable interface displays real-time footage on a 200mm Sunlight Readable LCD screen with 3x zoom.

The interface can capture still images, enter up to 16 pages of text, and browse and organise thumbnail galleries.

The SOLOPro+ accepts USB and SD media so that data, video, images and reports can be easily offloaded. Mini-Cam’s ProPIPE reporting software comes as standard with all systems.

WiFi is also available for remote access to store images and data, so users can simply drag and drop files from the camera control unit to a laptop, which can then be uploaded onsite.

The controller runs off mains power, vehicle power or an internal, rechargeable six-hour battery.

The self-levelling axial camera and pan and rotate camera come as standard with the top end SOLOPro+ DUO System. Separate axial camera and pan and rotate camera systems are part of the new line-up.

Each system has the option for 40m, 60m or 100m reel of welded steel construction with a protective powder coat finish that can handle the rigors of daily field use.

The coiler also has sealed slip ring and a new friction brake, which can be set to fully locked, applied as friction, and unlocked.
