OMICRON has released new versions of its ARCO Control, ReCoPlan and BOB2 Configurator software, introducing enhanced logic testing capabilities, simplified BOB2 integration and workflow improvements designed to make recloser testing more flexible and efficient.
The latest release extends the ARCO 400’s testing capabilities to other distribution grid controllers, including voltage and capacitor bank controllers.
Updates to the Sequencer test tool include additional trigger and output options, manual control of binary outputs, and the ability to test 52a/52b contact mismatch conditions, providing greater flexibility for advanced logic and functional testing.
A new export function in BOB2 Configurator enables customised BOB2 configurations to be imported directly into ReCoPlan. ARCO Control also introduces test plan search functionality and interactive Binary IN/OUT checks to help streamline setup and testing.
Additional enhancements include configurable timing thresholds for single-phase operated reclosers, support for additional harmonics, ground fault simulation without zero-sequence components, and zero-sequence vector displays in the Direct test tool.
According to OMICRON, the update also delivers a range of usability and workflow improvements aimed at increasing efficiency and productivity for testing teams.
