The Chair, board members, and staff of the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) have advised that Danny Broad has been appointed by the Australian Government to the Board of ARENA.
Mr Broad has commercial management experience in the power, civil, construction, and rail industries and is joining the other four board members, Greg Bourne (Chair), Glenys Beauchamp, Judith Smith, and Martin Hoffman.
Mr Broad will be helping ARENA deliver against its $2.5 billion mandate to improve the competitiveness and uptake of renewable energy across Australia.
ARENA is currently managing a portfolio of more than 200 projects worth around $3 billion spanning the entire commercialisation pathway.
