Ausconnex has launched a dark fibre service to telecommunications providers, data centre operators and other businesses based in Greater Western Sydney that need private, stable and high-speed communications connections.

“Ausconnex dark fibre service delivers a ready-made and easy-to-use dedicated telecommunication and data transfer solution that’s tailored to your immediate needs,” Peter Hanley, General Manager at Ausconnex, said.

“With fibre optic cable already in place, each new customer connection simply involves the installation of a fibre tail at each end to connect to the existing network.

“This secure and stable point-to-point connection delivers 99.995 per cent  target availability with the additional peace of mind provided by multiple physically discrete back-up connection paths.

“Our service can grow with your business, offering the flexibility to increase bandwidth and upgrade capacity at any time.

Mr Hanley said with years of experience, Ausconnex is excited to bring its deep expertise in electrical services, equipment supply and asset management to the telecommunications industry.

“Initial interest among prospective customers has been strong and we look forward to connecting our first customers in the coming months,” Mr Hanley said.

“We’re more than just infrastructure, offering customers peace of mind, with a team of experts on hand 24/7/365 to support you on your data journey.”
