BG Group is currently seeking indicative bids for Queensland pipeline assets valued at approximately $2.5 billion, Business Spectator has reported. The assets allegedly for sale relate to the Queensland Curtis Island liquefied natural gas (QCLNG) project.

Indicative bids are sought by late August and companies rumoured to be interested include Cheung Kong Infrastructure and a number of consortiums composed of domestic and overseas companies.
