Powerlink Queensland’s Chairman Stephen Rochester has announced his resignation to take up the position of Chief Executive Officer of the Tasmanian Public Finance Corporation (Tascorp).
Powerlink Chief Executive Merryn York thanked Mr Rochester for his service as Chairman. “I appreciate the work Stephen has done to help steer the organisation over the past two years,” Ms York said.
Mr Rochester said he wanted to thank Ms York and the Powerlink Board for their support.
“Powerlink is changing its business approach to better deliver value for customers, consumers and stakeholders,” Mr Rochester said. “The transformation of the business would not have been possible without the commitment of the Board, Chief Executive and senior executive management team.”
Mr Rochester will continue to serve as Chairman to allow a short transition for a suitable replacement to be determined.
