The Coliban Water Board has appointed a new Acting Managing Director as it make preparations for recruiting a permanent Managing Director.

Coliban Water Chief Operating Officer, Neville Pearce, has been appointed as Acting Managing Director, with Incumbent Managing Director, Jeff Rigby, departing the organisation on Monday 18 February. Mr Rigby has accepted a Managing Director role at Western Water.

Chairperson, Lucy Roffey, said Mr Rigby had been an outstanding leader for Coliban Water over the past seven years, and the organisation was well positioned to maintain positive momentum under Acting arrangements.

Mr Pearce has 30 years of experience in the water industry, the last ten years with Coliban Water, and, as its Chief Operating Officer, he leads the service and infrastructure areas of the organisation.

“The Board has confidence the organisation is in good hands under the leadership of Neville as Acting Managing Director and the head of the Leadership Team,” Ms Roffey said.
