Following an open market recruitment process, Coliban Water has re-appointed its Managing Director from now until December 2021.

Jeff Rigby has been Managing Director since December 2011, and was identified as the best candidate to continue to lead Coliban Water for the next five years.

Coliban Water Chairman, Andrew Cairns, said more than 70 people applied for the role.

“It was Jeff’s strategy thinking and ability to push the envelope to enable Coliban Water to enhance the social fabric of the region that excited the board,” Mr Cairns said.

“His clear vision to address the challenges and opportunities gives us confidence he will lead the business in developing value for customers and the community, and building our resilience to the impacts of climate change.”

Mr Rigby has 31 years of experience working in the water industry, including 15 years in executive management roles. Prior to joining Coliban Water, he was the Managing Director of Grampians Wimmera Mallee Water for four years from 2007.
