Greater Western Water is inviting industry professionals to register their interest in attending an exclusive site visit to the Siddeley Street sewer upgrade works on Friday, 19 September 2025 (10:00 – 11:30am), following the conclusion of No-Dig Down Under.

The guided visit will give delegates a behind-the-scenes look at a complex trenchless engineering project, spanning approximately 750m from Flinders Lane through Siddeley Street to Wurundjeri Way.

Delivered by Aqua Metro via tunnel boring, the project showcases how vital infrastructure can be upgraded in a dense urban environment while minimising disruption to city life.

Attendees will gain insight into the planning, coordination and innovation required to deliver this upgrade, with key themes including stakeholder engagement and community communication, managing traffic and heritage considerations in a live CBD environment and delivering large-scale underground infrastructure with minimal surface impact.

This site visit represents a unique opportunity for engineers, project managers, contractors, and infrastructure specialists to see trenchless techniques in action and better understand the challenges and solutions behind major urban sewer upgrades.

Interested participants are encouraged to express their interest early and join the waitlist. Successful applicants will be notified by email.

Express your interest here.
