The Economic Regulation Authority is seeking public comment on the proposed revised access arrangement for the Goldfields Gas Pipeline (GGP), available on the Authority’s website.
On 15 August 2014, Goldfields Gas Transmission (GGT), on behalf of Southern Cross Pipelines Australia, Southern Cross Pipelines (NPL) Australia, and Alinta DEWAP, submitted its proposed revised access arrangement, access arrangement information, and other supporting information to the Authority.
The GGP extends 1,380 kilometres from Yarraloola, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, to Kalgoorlie, in the southern Goldfields region of Western Australia.
The GGP Access Arrangement sets out the terms and conditions under which GGT will provide third party users access to the GGP. The GGP Access Arrangement Information and Supporting Information is provided to help interested parties better understand GGT’s proposed revisions.
The National Gas Rules (NGR) require that as soon as practicable after receiving a full access arrangement proposal, the Authority must publish an initiating notice on its website and in a newspaper with general circulation around Australia. This notice is published as an initiating notice in accordance with the requirements of the NGR.
The Authority intends to publish an issues paper as soon as possible to assist interested parties in preparing submissions on GGT’s proposed revisions.
