Construction on Seqwater’s new Canungra Water Treatment Plant in Queensland has been completed and is now providing more than 800 Canungra residents with an enhanced water source.
Construction on the new water treatment plant started mid-2016 with the new plant adding water to the Canungra supply zone as a part of initial trial operations for the plant.
The $4 million project will more than triples the available drinking water and provide a more secure water supply for the local area.
Seqwater will undertake increased monitoring during September and October 2018 as part of initial operations of the new plant.
