A burst water main in Caulfield (VIC) recently contributed to the creation of a large sinkhole, which swallowed three lanes on the busy Glen Eira Road.
The sinkhole opened up around 2am on Tuesday 29 September. The road was closed and traffic was diverted from the area.
South East Water crews worked through the early hours of the morning to repair the main and restore water supply to the area and reinstate the road as soon as possible.
