Downer Water Services has launched a new initiative to drive recruitment to help support its upcoming pipeline of work across Australia’s East Coast.

The digital campaign features employees working across the full gamut of careers within the Water Services team and includes short videos designed at sharing their unique perspective and experiences of working at Downer.

Downer Water Services General Manager, Chris Yeats, said the campaign was aimed at driving awareness through personal stories and highlighting Downer’s key differentiators for potential candidates in the market.

“Most people have heard of Downer, we’re one of Australia’s largest employers. However, there is a limited understanding around the full scope of what we do in the Utilities and Water space.

Downer is a leading supplier of outsourced water services across the Trans-Tasman, delivering water, wastewater, advanced recycled water treatment facilities and long-term water programs to utilities providers and councils in the ACT, Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and New Zealand.

“We’re currently recruiting for roles ranging from design and construction to estimating; scheduling; safety, health, environment, and quality; stakeholder engagement; finance and contracts management; and administration,” Mr Yeats said.

“Many of the Australian water industry’s best and brightest have started their careers at Downer, so if you have an interest in water and your skills and experience align with the roles we are currently recruiting for, don’t miss the opportunity to join our high performing team.”
