Endeavour Energy’s Chairman, Robert Webster, has announced the appointment of an interim Chief Executive Officer.

Current Chief Executive Officer Tony Narvaez will be leaving Endeavour Energy later this year having accepted the Managing Director’s role at AusNet Services.  

Current Company Secretary and General Counsel, Leanne Pickering will be taking the interim CEO position effective 1 July 2019.

Ms Pickering will bring over 20 years’ industry experience in infrastructure companies including DUET and Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA)

“She’s also held senior roles spanning health and safety, company secretarial, legal, risk and human resources, compliance and audit functions,” Mr Webster said.

“Leanne has impressed with her diligence and focus in ensuring the business continues its company-wide transformation, delivering strong business outcomes without compromising safety or reliability.  

“The Board is encouraged by the positive momentum that the business has been building and want to ensure this continues with pace.

“These attributes stand Leanne in very good stead for her success in the role, and we look forward to working with her on a smooth handover,” Mr Webster said.  

Ms Pickering said she was excited about the opportunity to lead Endeavour Energy as its continues the push to be the best performing network in Australia.

“I am passionate about looking after the safety and well-being of our people and helping them to do their best work as we instil a customer-centric culture at Endeavour,” Leanne said.  

The Board of Endeavor Energy will shortly commence the process of a formal search for a permanent Chief Executive Officer.
