For the fourth consecutive year, Endeavour Energy has earned a five-star rating in the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB).
Achieving its highest-ever score of 98 out of 100, Endeavour Energy ranked third out of eleven participating electricity distribution companies worldwide, and seventh out of 119 public-private partnerships, up from 17th in 2023.
Endeavour Energy Chief Data, People and Sustainability Officer, Melissa Irwin, said, “Sustainability isn’t just a commitment at Endeavour Energy, it sits at the centre of our organisational strategy to decarbonise the grid, and is integral part of everything we do.
“We’re dedicated to ambitious goals to be net zero by 2040, zero waste to landfill by 2030 and nature positive by 2025.
“By using the GRESB framework, we continually challenge ourselves to enhance sustainability practices while benchmarking our performance against utilities across the world.
“The results of this year’s GRESB assessments are a testament to the positive impact our focus on sustainability is having in paving the way for a brighter future for our customers and communities.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our teams and business partners for their invaluable contributions to this achievement,” Ms Irwin said.
“Together, we are making significant strides towards a cleaner, brighter future for our customers and communities.”
