ERM Business Energy has secured $1 billion in government contracts including a three year agreement with the New South Wales Government and an extension of an Federal Government contract.

Commencing on 1 July 2015, the NSW Government deal cements ERM’s place as a key electricity supplier and extends its reach to more than 15,000 metered sites, covering NSW Health, the Department of Education and Communities and the Department of Attorney General and Justice.

For the Australian Government, ERM has extended its agreement to supply power to more than 80 federal agencies including Defence (ACT & NSW), Parliament House, the Australian War Memorial, and the National Museum.

The ERM press releases said:

“Consistent growth and unrivalled customer service has allowed us to capture more than 16 per cent of the Australian business electricity market and become the fourth largest electricity retailer, measured by load,  in Australia since commencing retailing electricity seven years ago.

“Despite significant growth ERM has not lost its personal touch. We continue to excel with industry leading customer service and as a result have been independently rated as having the most satisfied customers in the business electricity retail market* for the past three years.”
