Evoqua Water Technologies has been recognised as a leader in the water industry and has been named Company of the Year by Global Water Intelligence (GWI) and Frost & Sullivan

Evoqua Water Technologies has been named the Water Company of the Year by GWI, the leading market resource for the water industry, as part of the Global Water Awards held in conjunction with GWI’s Global Water Summit.

GWI’s Global Water Awards, voted on by the readers of GWI, honour excellence across the international water industry, recognising leaders who are moving the industry forward.

Evoqua was cited for its transformation from the former Siemens Water business to “undisputed leader in the field of water treatment, the shrewd roll-up of water technology companies, followed by a highly successful initial public offering in 2017, under the leadership of CEO Ron Keating”.

Evoqua CEO, Ron Keating, said, “We appreciate an organisation such as GWI and its readers recognising the great work our approximately 4000 employees do each day to further our ‘Purpose of Transforming Water and Enriching Life’.

“Our vision to be the world’s first choice for water solutions is underpinned by our Values of Integrity, Customers and Performance, so it is gratifying to see the marketplace sees the impact we are making.”

In naming Evoqua Water Company of the Year, GWI said, “By simplifying the company’s internal structure and re-energising its workforce to engage more closely than ever with industrial and municipal end customers, Evoqua has built a fearsome reputation in the water industry as the king of systems supply, product sales and service. It enjoys top-tier market positions in a range of industry segments, from electrochlorination right through to biological nutrient removal.

“Evoqua embarked on an ambitious $400 million acquisitions program which culminated in 2017, improving its earnings profile and strengthening its flowsheet by allowing it to enter new adjacencies. With a revitalised culture and a balance sheet to match, the company is delivering on its promises to its customers globally,” GWI said.

Evoqua Water Technologies has also been selected as  the Water Technology Solutions Company of the Year by Frost & Sullivan, the leading global research and best practices firm. The Frost & Sullivan Company of the Year Award recognises leadership among both industry and non-industry peers, and requires a company to demonstrate excellence in growth, innovation and leadership.

“At Evoqua, everything we do begins and ends with exceeding the expectations of our customers,” Mr Keating said.

“We are proud to be recognised by Frost & Sullivan for not just our industry leadership but for the positive impact we make for our customers each day as we transform water and enrich life.”

In selecting Evoqua for the Company of the Year award, Frost & Sullivan analysts independently conducted primary and secondary research across the entire water industry value chain. Specific criteria of the Frost & Sullivan research covered how Evoqua is utilising forward-thinking strategies, innovation, performance and best practices to deliver superior customer experiences and improve brand equity.

In naming Evoqua Company of the Year, Frost & Sullivan highlighted Evoqua’s range of technologies and how the company leverages a vast amount of “experience and industrial know-how to deliver top-notch, customisable customer service”.

Additionally, Frost & Sullivan cited how Evoqua finds avenues for using IoT technology to deliver quicker, more efficient products and services for its vast customer base.

Frost & Sullivan Chairman, David Frigstad, said, “Evoqua has demonstrated excellence across innovation, performance and customer impact.

“This kind of excellence translates into superior performance in demand generation, brand development and competitive positioning. We’re proud to present Evoqua with the Company of the Year award.

“We strive to recognise companies we feel have a keen eye on the future and meet needs before they become commonly visible. Evoqua clearly focuses on delivering the best products and service at optimal prices to maximise customer value and the customer experience.”
