Endeavour Energy has announced that two of its highly experienced team members have been internally appointed to its executive leadership team.
The utility said that these promotions are part of efforts to reinforce Endeavour Energy’s commitment to shaping the future of energy and enhancing safety and operational excellence.
Colin Crisafulli has been promoted to General Manager, Future Grid & Asset Management – an expanded role leading Endeavour Energy’s transition to a more advanced, resilient, and customer-centric grid.
David Campbell has been appointed as General Manager Safety & Operations, underscoring
Endeavour Energy’s commitment to the highest standards of safety and operational excellence across its business.

“Colin brings deep knowledge of Endeavour Energy and the energy industry more broadly, having joined as a Cadet Engineer and worked across many aspects of the business, including network operations, engineering, contingency planning, network pricing, and regulatory affairs.
“In his expanded role, he will be responsible for future proofing the network to ensure it is resilient, while leveraging new approaches, partnerships and technologies that support our customers’ energy choices as we transition beyond our traditional role of a poles and wires operator to become a distribution system operator. His role will encompass integrating renewables through distribution energy zones, and enabling the uptake of solar, batteries and electric vehicles at least cost for all.
“David is a highly accomplished leader with a proven track record in navigating complex challenges and driving transformative change. Since joining as an apprentice, David has led a diverse range of functions including safety, field operations, network system operations, technical training, metering, and market operations. This includes successfully leading Endeavour Energy’s operational teams through five major natural disasters, and restoration of essential electricity supply to communities ravaged by the 2019–20 Black Summer bushfires,” Mr Chalkley said.
“David’s safety leadership and continual focus on delivering exceptional outcomes for our customers, employees, and the communities we serve has been nationally recognised in the Australian Industry Health and Safety Awards.
“As General Manager Safety and Operations, David will lead the delivery of an efficient, safe, resilient and reliable operations, ensuring a robust network that underpins the lifestyles and prosperity of the 2.7 million customers who live and work in our booming regions.
“His leadership will be pivotal in fostering a safety culture that aligns with Endeavour Energy’s operational objectives and supports our core role of the provision of safe and reliable electricity services as we power our communities for a brighter future.”
