nbn will develop online training and accreditation to provide up-to-date methods on how to design and install nbn standards.
According to the internet provider a key concern from industry has been the time it takes to correct designs or remediate work.
nbn has been working to implement best practice training for the NBN design and construction activities.
This will fast track certification and approvals and ensure consistency across the industry.
The training program will be launched in 2018 and enable designers and installers to become accredited by nbn in Pathway Design, Pit and Pipe Design, and Pit and Pipe installation.
The modules will also train industry on using our new Assisted Drafting Tool, which is set to launch at the same time.
