nbn has signed two four-year Design and Construction Master Agreements (DCMA) to cover new developments and fibre links.

Following a tender process, the last multi-technology mix (MTM) construction agreements were awarded to infrastructure company, Fulton Hogan, and construction company, Visionstream.

The DCMAs will deliver the NBN to new development premises using MTM as well as to nbn’s fibre links that support the underlying infrastructure on the NBN.

“These new DCMA agreements provide us with the agility to deploy the nbn network to new homes in greenfield developments and infill brownfield areas,” nbn Chief Network Engineering Officer, Peter Ryan, said.

The DCMAs will support the deployment of the NBN to an estimated 450,000 new development premises and 150 transit fibre links nationally.
