TPG has recently won an in-court dispute with NBN (formerly known as NBN Co) over the use of power plugs in its fibre-to-the-basement (FttB) rollout.

TPG is now allowed to provide power supplies to sites where it installs equipment for its FttB broadband network.

The company will be rolling out fibre-to-the-basement to approximately 500,000 homes and businesses in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, in direct competition with the NBN rollout.
