Victorian Minister for Water Peter Walsh has announced the appointment of a new director to the Coliban Water Board.
“David Richardson, from Bendigo, has strong connections with his local community and is the Chief Executive Officer of Strategem, an accounting, business advice and financial management business,” Mr Walsh said.
“As a director, Mr Richardson will join fellow Coliban Water board members in their responsibilities for overseeing governance and management of the corporation, including implementation of the Victorian Coalition Government’s Fairer Water Bills initiative.
“Mr Richardson is a highly skilled and experienced professional and I look forward to his contribution to Coliban Water’s continued delivery of quality, efficient and sustainable water services for customers.”
Mr Richardson also serves as: Chairman of the VECCI Small Business Council and Bendigo Professional Services Group of the City of Greater Bendigo; Deputy Chair of the Bendigo Regional Advisory Board of La Trobe University and; a member of VECCI Executive Council and a community reference group for the City of Greater Bendigo.
Mr Walsh thanked outgoing Director Andrew Skewes for his service to Coliban Water.
