Aurora Energy CEO, Nigel Clark, has welcomed the appointment of the company’s new chair.
Trevor Danos will commence in the role effective immediately.
As a senior and highly respected commercial lawyer, company director, and strategic advisor, Mr Danos brings with him valuable experience in a wide range of areas and industries including electricity, electricity regulation, the energy transition, regulated businesses, finance, infrastructure health, housing and social innovation.
Mr Danos also Chairs the Northern Sydney Local Health District, the NSW Treasury Social Investment Expert Advisory Group, the New South Wales Government Community Housing Industry Council, and sits on the boards of Endeavour Energy, the privatised New South Wales Land Registry Office, and Viral Vector Manufacturing Facility.
Mr Clark welcomed Mr Danos to Aurora Energy at an important time for Tasmanian electricity consumers.
“Mr Danos’ broad experience will be an asset to Aurora Energy as we continue to work towards our vision and purpose by supporting our customers’ evolving needs for their energy future” Mr Clark said.
Mr Danos said he was pleased to serve as Chair for Aurora Energy.

Mr Clark thanked outgoing Chair Mary O’Kane for her years of dedicated service, as well as Acting Chair, Keryn Nylander, who stepped into the role for the past eight months.
