Endeavour Energy has appointed a new Chief Financial Officer.
Chief Executive Officer, Guy Chalkley, said Endeavour Energy was delighted to welcome Francoise Merit to the position.
“She is a seasoned CFO and senior leader who brings over 20 years of experience in the engineering, infrastructure and defence sectors encompassing finance, risk management and project performance as well as commercial and contractual negotiations,” Mr Chalkley said.
“Prior to joining Endeavour Energy, Francoise worked for infrastructure organisations including Transfield Services Group, Australia Defence Industries, Thales and Aurecon.
“She is an authentic and inspirational leader who builds high-performing teams through talent development.”
Mr Chalkley commented that Ms Merit has demonstrated success in transforming finance functions throughout complex businesses.
“She is recognised and well respected as a valued business partner contributing to improved profitability,” Mr Chalkley said.
“Francoise is also passionate about increasing female leadership in senior and executive roles.
“She regularly speaks at leadership forums such as the CFO Summit, the Royal Australian Navy Leadership Development Program and the Workday Global Conference about her strategies and experience to increase diversity and inclusion in all its forms.”
Ms Merit is a fellow of CPA Australia and has a Masters of Business Administration from ESSCA Business School in France.
She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and joined the French Foreign Trade Advisory Board in 2018, being appointed Chair in January 2020.
