Watersave Australia, an innovative sustainability enterprise that delivers water management products and online solutions for water and energy monitoring and sustainability reporting, has been working with Australian businesses to save water since 2003. The company’s continued growth and the newly released SmartMeter Utility Management Solution (SUMS) has led to the appointment of a new Commercial Director, Simon Jones.
Simon will be responsible for channel sales and partner selection. He joins the organisation with over 30 years of sales management and business development experience across a broad range of industries, starting out in print media (Mirror Group Newspapers, TVTimes, The Independent, and The Times), the launch of digital media (News International, BskyB, and Optus) and since 2002 as a Consultant and Interim-Manager working on a range of projects primarily within the digital (online and mobile) space, including Fuji Xerox, Yambay, m.Net, Westpac, and ANZ.
Simon Jones says “Watersave’s continued growth and innovation has led to the development of a sophisticated platform for utilities monitoring. The SmartMeter Utility Management Solution is well positioned to become a market leader in water and energy management and I am keen to work closely with existing and future business partners to provide solutions that will result in significant resource efficiencies and savings.”
Managing Director of Watersave Australia, Paul Marsh, says “The appointment of Simon Jones is a reflection of our confidence in this expanding market as the need for sustainable practices grows. Simon will bring a tighter focus on customer relationships and partnering for future growth and we are excited to welcome him to the team.”
