Online retailer, Catch Group, has expanded its services with the announcement of an Australian energy group called Catch Energy, which will provide competitively priced energy and gas plans in partnership with 1st Energy.

CEO of Catch Group, Nati Harpaz, stated that the company is looking forward to taking aim at the major energy retailers and helping Australians get the best possible deal on their utility bills over the long term.

“Catch is a trusted brand that has built its reputation offering great value to consumers. We know household budgets are under pressure and with the launch of Catch Energy we are leveraging our strength to help Australians enjoy better value on this key essential service. We are thrilled to be partnering with 1st Energy to bring this offer to the market,” Mr Harpaz said.

1st Energy CEO, Adam Landry, said, “We are proud to partner with such a strong and trusted brand. Catch’s commitment to offering consumers a better deal and great value is directly aligned with our philosophy at 1st Energy. We are looking forward to working together.”

Catch Energy will be available for electricity customers in Victoria, NSW and South East Queensland in April 2019, as well as gas customers in Victoria from May 2019.
