New charges have been proposed by NBN Co for the Ethernet Bitstream Service (NEBS) over Long Term Satellite (LTS) in order to recover some of the costs of providing the service.
A fee of $15 will be in place for customers re-connecting to the network within Australia, with late cancellations or missed appointments resulting in a fee of up to $150 locally and $225 in limited access areas.
NBN Co expects to commercially launch LTS in early 2016.
