New water main for Gippsland

Gippsland Water will soon begin construction on a new water main between Churchill and Jeeralang Junction in Victoria.

The project will ensure the Jeeralang Junction and Jumbuk community has a secure water supply as the existing main has reached the end of its useful life.

The new water main will be installed in road reserve from Glendonald Road and along parts of Monash Way, Junction Road and Hazelwood Estate Road. It will also be constructed in some Gippsland Water easements.

During construction Gippsland Water and its contractors will endeavour to minimise impact but residents will be notified of any major diversions required.
