Murrumbidgee Irrigation Limited (MI) is seeking expressions of interest for water infrastructure projects in the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area (MIA), NSW, after receiving Government funding.

The funding is supplied under round two of the Private Irrigation Infrastructure Operators Program and includes up to $43.4million for the design and construction of the Wah Wah Stock and Domestic Pipeline Project.

The aim of the project is to improve the efficiency and productivity of water use, in exchange for the transfer of water entitlements to the Australian Government for environmental use.

Murrumbidgee Irrigation is now seeking designers and contractors who are experienced with on-farm stock and domestic water supply systems, to submit an Expression of Interest to be considered for appointment to an approved Panel of Providers.

The Panel will enable eligible customers to obtain quotations from providers who have satisfied the mandatory Australian Government requirements.

Expressions of interest close on 19 February 2016.
