The Northern Territory Department of Mines and Energy has granted Central Petroleum the Dingo Pipeline Licence No. 30 (PL30). The company had already been granted the Petroleum Production Licence L7 for the site.
The Dingo Gas Field Preliminary Field Development Plan and Reservoir Management Plan have also been approved and clearing and grading site works have begun.
“The commencement of the site works for this strategic pipeline is a major milestone and signifies the start of Central being a significant player in the NT gas market,” said Central Petroleum Managing Director Richard Cottee.
