Origin Energy has announced the date of Executive Director, Finance and Strategy, Karen Moses’ retirement, and has established a new Chief Financial Officer role that will report directly to the Managing Director.
Ms Moses announced her intention to retire at the 2015 AGM in October 2015 and will step down from her current role on 16 May 2016.
Ms Moses will continue her employment with Origin until her retirement at the end of August 2016 to provide support through a transitional period and complete work on a number of strategic priorities.
Origin is currently conducting a search for a permanent appointment to the CFO role, covering both internal and external candidates.
Until a permanent appointment has been decided upon, Origin’s current Group Financial Controller, Gary Mallett, will act in this role.
Origin’s Managing Director, Mr Grant King said, “Ms Moses has made an invaluable contribution to the growth and development of Origin for more than 20 years, and we wish her well as she nears her well-earned retirement.”
