Residents and business representatives from Melbourne’s inner and western suburbs are encouraged to nominate for City West Water’s Customer Committee.
Nominations are now being accepted for the committee, which is open to all City West Water customers and serves an advisory role to assist the business in delivering its services.
City West Water Managing Director Anne Barker said involvement in the committee is a great way to take an active role in providing a vital service to the community.
We’ve been operating the Customer Committee since we began our operations in 1995, and it has played a key role in many aspects of the way in which we provide our services, Ms Barker said.
The community is a cornerstone of our business, and like any organisation that provides an essential service, we can always do more and learn from the communities we serve.
The Committee enables interested members of the community to take an active role in providing customer and community based consultative feedback to City West Water on its performance and operations.
The Customer Committee meets quarterly, and appointments are valid for three years. Key responsibilities include consultative feedback on proposed changes to the City West Water Customer Charter.
The Committee will also provide feedback on our service and programs and support efficient use of water in the community. Positions are limited.
The Committee is a key component of City West Water’s Community and Social Involvement Strategy which underpins involvement in a range of community programs that ultimately assist with the provision of appropriate services, the education of customers, and engagement of the community.
Interested members of the community are encouraged to complete the nomination form located at citywestwater.com.au
