The Clean Energy Regulator have developed a register for all solar water heaters that are eligible for small-scale technology certificates under the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme.

All systems must be installed exactly as they are listed on the register, and their components accredited to be eligible for certificates. If one or more components are missing or changed during the installation of the system, it will no longer meet the criteria as a solar water heater or an air source heat pump under the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Regulations 2001, and is not eligible for small-scale technology certificates.

The register of solar water heaters (version 24) is now available. To download a copy of the register of solar water heaters (version 24) see the register of solar water heaters.
