The latest reports on the NBN rollout show that progress slowed somewhat over the last month, with fewer new areas connected to the network, due to the construction industry shut-down period.
Nevertheless, some work still occurred with further premises passed by the NBN in areas already under construction and works beginning in Modbury, South Australia and Shepparton, Victoria.
Recent figures (published for the week ending January 26) show that across Australia 434,651 premises have been passed by the network, with 139,700 activated and ready to connect.
Construction is expected to ramp up over the coming months.
