RS PRO is proud to announce the expansion of its sensor range by 60 per cent, which brings its full sensor offering to over 560 products.

The RS PRO range of sensing technologies includes inductive, capacitive, rotary coders and load cells for any application. All of the sensors are RS PRO-grade, thoroughly tested for quality and reliability, whilst being the most competitively priced on the market.

Some of the new sensor products in the expanded range include:

  • Photoelectric Proximity Sensors
  • Photoelectric Proximity Sensors
  • Inductive Proximity Sensors
  • Capacitive Proximity Sensors
  • Ultrasonic Proximity Sensors
  • Load cells
  • Fibre Optical Sensors
  • Rotary Encoders
  • Barcode Reader
  • Thermocouples

According to Ian Macgregor, RS PRO Product Manager for ANZ, the expansion in the range is meeting demand in the market for affordable options for engineers looking for choice.

“We’ve seen an upswing in the sourcing of our current product range and due to interest in other product verticals we have gone to work on this expansive range,” Mr Macgregor said.

The doubling of the RS PRO sensor range will be welcomed by design, electrical and maintenance engineers across factory assembly lines, automation and robotics industries, who have indicated a need for new longer-term automation component solutions.
