South Australia’s main gas supply will be enhanced after SEA Gas and Epic Energy connected the Moomba to Adelaide Pipeline (MAP) with the SEA Gas pipeline.
The interconnection will allow gas to flow from the SEA Gas pipeline to the MAP, strengthening South Australia’s gas supply.
The state now has a connected pipeline that will enable gas to be delivered from multiple supply sources to all parts of the state and beyond.
The Moomba to Adelaide Pipeline travels in a North-South direction through South Australia, while SEA Gas enters diagonally through the state’s South-East.
Both pipelines transport natural gas, which has applications in industrial and commercial enterprises, as well domestic uses.
