South East Water is inviting customers across Melbourne’s southeast and the Mornington Peninsula to help shape the future of their water, sewerage, and recycled water services.
Its biggest-ever community engagement campaign is now live, including an online survey open until March 22.
Survey responses will guide South East Water’s Price Submission 2028, which will outline the services, infrastructure projects, and prices between July 1, 2028, and June 30, 2033.
“We’re asking our customers what they value most about their water services and their views on future priorities,” said South East Water General Manager Strategy and Stakeholder, Karen Lau.
“Their answers will help shape how we balance the needs of our growing region and respond to key challenges and opportunities – from building and maintaining reliable water and sewerage infrastructure; to adapting to climate change, harnessing technological innovation and supporting those experiencing financial hardship.”
In the coming months, South East Water will host in-person and online engagement activities, including pop-up events, interactive tools, and community panels to reach communities from Port Melbourne to Portsea and east to Pakenham.
