Sydney Water’s latest Water Efficiency Report has announced the company as a top international performer in leakage reduction. The company’s international rating is 1.5, making it one of the best in the world, which compares well to European countries who rate around 5 or 6.
Over the past 10 years Sydney Water have invested more than $1 billion in leakage reduction and management and the biggest gains have already been made. Since 2002 the level of leaks and breaks have been reduced by more than 50 per cent.
