Registrations are open for Sydney Water’s upcoming 2022 Innovation Festival. Held from November 25, the five-day event brings together diverse perspectives to solve challenges in the water industry and beyond.
This year’s Sydney Water Innovation Festival (SWIF) is focused on reconnecting people with urban waterways through the opening of swim sites as part of its Summer of Swimming in conjunction with the Urban Plunge initiative.
Sydney Water will showcase emerging innovations and technologies and some of its innovation success stories in the water industry.
The Great Debate with the UK will also be back, along with entertainment, networking and engagement opportunities.
Attendees will experience inspiring keynote speakers, design sprints, hackathons and Tech Tank-style events.
Sydney Water General Manager of Business Development, Chris Gould, said he’s looking forward to this year’s festival.
“Our motivation for SWIF is to encourage a culture of innovation and create a better life with world class water services,” Mr Gould said.
“We want to empower our people and partners to move beyond their ‘day jobs’ and take the opportunity to create fresh ideas and projects that will deliver value to our customers.”
Registrations are now open for the 2022 Sydney Water Innovation Festival, held from November 25 and ending November 29 at the Australian National Maritime Museum in Sydney.
