A new Non-Executive Director has been appointed for TasNetworks until 2021.
Formerly a Partner of Deloitte, Sarah Merridew is a Chartered Accountant and experienced company director with expertise in audit, risk management, governance and business advisory services.
TasNetworks Chairman, Dr Dan Norton AO, said Ms Merridew’s wealth of experience in public, private and government sectors will see her excel in the position.

Ms Merridew is a member of the Audit Advisory Committee for the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Director of the Merridew Foundation.
Ms Merridew was formerly a Non-Executive Director of TasRail, MyState and subsidiary companies, including Chairman of the Group Risk Committee, Director of TasWater, Tasmanian Water and Sewerage Corporations (Southern Water, Ben Lomond Water, Cradle Mountain Water and Onstream), Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees, Tasmanian Banking Services and Tasmanian Public Finance Corporation (TASCORP).
