Sydney Trains (NSW) is seeking tenders for an upgrade to the electrical SCADA master station. The Sydney Trains’ SCADA system is used to monitor and control the high voltage (132kV, 66kV, 33kV, 11kV, 2kV AC) electrical distribution networks and the 1500 VDC electrical traction network.
The SCADA master station provides the user interface to allow the electrical networks to be controlled during emergencies or maintenance periods as well as to show the live status of the network. The system also maintains asset condition information used to inform asset management and maintenance decisions.
