The Victorian Government is undertaking a major program of studies to examine the potential impacts of possible onshore natural gas development on Victoria’s water resources.

The Department of Environment and Primary Industries seeks qualified to contractors to conduct regional risk assessments of the potential risks from onshore gas developments to groundwater and water related assets in the Gippsland and Otway Basins. They also require synthesis reporting to bring together and summarise the investigations undertaken for all works undertaken for the onshore natural gas water science studies.

Submissions close: Thursday 18 September.
