South East Water is seeking a full time sewer operations technician in Frankston to contribute to the operation of South East Water’s Sewerage System.
The successful applicant must have the ability to diagnose and resolve complex sewer operational issues, be able to supervise and negotiate with contractors and have significant experience using information technology and systems for operational and maintenance activities including monitoring of alarms in SCADA and works management systems.
South East Water are looking for someone with a broad understanding of the life cycle of sewerage systems and associated WSAA standards, knowledge and understanding of the plumbing code regulations and interface with property sewer connections, as well as an understanding of odour and corrosion in sewer networks.
